LET'S DISCUSS: WHO TAUGHT YOU MORE - THE INTERNET OR SCHOOL?

One of the most common phrases ever heard "Stay in school".

Do you remember what you've learned in school? Rather, have you applied anything you've learned in school to your current situation? Chances are you might, but it's very hard to identify. Earthly knowledge is now common knowledge when the internet is at your fingertips. The days of keeping it a secret are over, and the world wide web has molded it into a solid leg to stand on.

Is there anything in a college course that's not written online? What could a textbook teach you at this point? Websites have had time to flourish in a ray of colorful information. How many facts have you come across since you took your first surf on the internet's waves? How many times did you search for a tutorial on how to do something?

So honestly, have you learned more in or outside of school? Is it fair to ask that question? Does it depend on the person and their willingness to learn? Absolutely, but would a lack of willingness indicate a motivational deficiency or a lower level of intelligence? Perhaps teachers are essentially necessary for the stimulation of the learning process. Maybe they give inspiration to those who can't find it on their own.

Contrary to popular belief, there is a difference between knowledge and intelligence. Knowledge is the information you've acquired. Intelligence is your understanding of that knowledge and your application of it. So don't ever assume someone is smart because they know a lot, that just makes them knowledgeable, not intelligent.

Richard Branson dropped out of High School, so how is he worth over 4.6 billion dollars?

Is it possible to not graduate high school and still be successful? According to The Business Insider, yes it is. If you don't think so, then what would you say those who have done it have that you don't? If you stand by the education system and believe school has taught you more, then are the people who went farther in life without it be smarter than you? What would you call it?

Do you think our education system is completely useless? Do you think it should stop after a child learns basic skills like reading and writing? Or do you believe it should continue even further than college? Do you think people are capable of learning on their own if they have internet access? What do you think?
