CRAIGSLIST VS CAREERBUILDER VS MONSTER

What job site has the best jobs? What job site should you sign up with?

Our friends over at the Employment Insider conducted a detailed survey on the top three job sites and their performance in today's job market. They took a basic customer service resume, shot 10 replies to 10 different job postings, in 3 different regions, on all 3 sites, 3 times, in 3 days.

As interesting as their post was, we decided we could do one better. We took 100 random people from 100 different regions from across the united states, had them apply to 10 random job posting within their search criteria, and gave the sites 30 days to respond.
The ratings are calculated by percentage of genuine responses from the site along with user experience.

Note: The applicants used in this study were WELL QUALIFIED for the positions they applied for within their individual search criteria.

Interesting facts

  • On more than one occasion, on all three sites there were job postings were found to be FAKE. This leads us to believe these three sites may be paying people to post jobs - almost like the operation of an online forum.
  •   If you're on Craiglist.org you can keep your spam-box low by not responding to every reply you get. Try waiting a day or two, more like the likely you will get some of the same spam messages twice. This will help you identify the real emails from the spam.
