METAMUCIL VS CITRUCEL

Constipation affects over 70% of Americans.

When it comes to the subject of constipation, many cheeks turn red (No pun intended). If you've ever experienced it, you know first hand the feeling is uncomfortable indeed. Perhaps a trip to your local drug store is the reason these lovely brands are familiar to your eyes. Orange in color, they have become a tangy necessity in most people's lives.

Originally the idea for research on the products was a close friend of ours who has serious issues when it comes to being regular. For 3 months we followed 500 people who were assigned to each brand unknowingly. Their diet was not allowed to change, their bowel movements were recorded and their opinions were captured.

JiPoshy Recommendation

Not only better tasting, but it put comfort before movement and for that it - takes the win. Most people will agree having pain while being uncomfortable is most unpleasant. It really depends on if you want one bad thing for a long period of time, or two bad things in a shorter period of time.

What needs to really be pointed out here is that neither act as, or are, a laxative. Fiber is essential for digestive health and promotes regular movement of the bowels. If you're looking for immediate relief a laxative may be for you but will be extremely uncomfortable.
