7 REASONS WE LOVE KEVIN SPACEY

The "House of Cards" star has been a hot topic lately.

Kevin Spacey has been one of Hollywood's most under-rated actors of all time. It only takes one of his movies to really show you what we're talking about. Why we say he's under-rated? Because most people don't know who he is.

It's true, most people will know him for House of Cards more than anything. We know him for much more than just that. So we decided to educate people a little in 7 simple reasons why we love him (other than the awesome House of Cards series of course).

7. He's the reason to watch
"Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".

The Clint Eastwood directed film received mixed reviews from critics, but they all agreed Kevin Spacey was the highlight. For people who read the book, Spacey was most like his character Jim Williams. If you're a fan of murder stories, Jude Law and John Cusack then you should give this movie a chance.

6. He made us hate him in "Horrible Bosses".

If you've ever had a boss you hated, more than likely they were a saint compared to Kevin Spacey in Horrible Bosses. Let's face it, his character David Harken was just downright cruel to his employees. If you haven't seen this movie yet, you really should. You get to see some of the meanest transcript worded out by some of your favorite actors and actresses. One thing is for sure, Kevin Spacey was the most convincing out of the bosses.

5. He creeped us out in "Moon".

Gerty was the most creepiest thing about Moon. Kevin Spacey played the robotic voice of the ship Sam Rockwell was on. The film is an incredible story having received positive reviews across the board. If you're into creepy Sci-Fi films and twisty plotlines, then you should shoot for the Moon.

4. His impressions are some of the best.

We've heard some Christopher Walken impressions; in fact, YouTube is bloated with them. Nobody does it better than Spacey though. Al Pacino said himself on David Letterman that he thought Spacey didn't do him very well. To Pacino's shock, Spacey walked out on stage from the back and did the impression in person. It eventually won Pacino over as he changed his mind.

3. He made "American Beauty" a classic.

What hasn't been said about this sad sad movie? Spacey played his part perfectly. His creepy fantasies were some of the most skin crawling. Having him narrate throughout the film really helped put the pieces together for how he was really feeling. This movie is a must see for newbies!

2. He scared the hell out of us in "Se7en".

If you haven't seen this movie, you are seriously missing out. Seven (Se7en) is one of the greatest films of all time, and that's a true understatement. Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow and of course Kevin Spacey give exceptional performances. Kevin Spacey makes our skin crawl as Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman race against time to catch the murderer. You owe it to yourself to watch this movie if you haven't.

1. He blew our minds in "The Usual Suspects".

The Usual Suspects is Kevin Spacey at his best. Among the all-star criminal lineup, Spacey plays the crippled Roger "Verbal" Kint. Now Verbal isn't just a piece of this criminal plan, he's the snitch. Spacey delivers some of the best quotes in his career, including the one featured here. If you haven't seen this movie, YOU NEED to stop everything you're doing and make it a priority.

So are you a big fan of House of Cards? Do you think Kevin Spacey should be in more movies? Do you think he'll make a better movie than Se7en or The Usual Suspects? Leave a comment and let us know.
