Some would say it's unnecessary upgrading a ps3 game to ps4, but simply adding a couple new features might be enough to make you want the upgrade. Not only is the PS4 version fully remastered in 1080p, but you also get the PS3 DLC of Ellie's backstory "Left Behind".
